Coach Scott Anderson

The Central Red-Raider ladies ran very strong races Saturday to place 2nd out of 25 teams at the Verona Invite.  Miranda Sanchez ran one of Centrals strongest races at this Verona Invite placing 6th with an excellent time of 15:56 which was 45 seconds faster than last year for Miranda. She was followed by freshman Morgan Sanger who placed 10th out of 163 runners in 16:17, outstanding.  Next was Abby Knutson who ran her personal best at Verona by over 33 seconds placing 16th with a time of 16:35.  Freshmen Kayla Guepfer was our 4th runner, showing great strength placing 36th in 17:04.  Sadie Schroeder rounded out our scoring placing 40th with a time of 17:13.  We also had awesome races from Violet Weibel and Marissa Fellenz who placed 44th and 49th with excellent times of 17;17 and 17:23.  Last year our number #4 runner was 17:24.  These young ladies showed me a lot of heart in their races at Verona.  Congratulations Ladies.

In the JV races Megan Baumler ran her first race of the season placing 5th in 17:45 and Annie Waniger placed 7 with a time of 17:56.  The Central Red-Raiders placed 5th out of 18 teams.  Keep up the great work and get ready for Luther.
